Wouldn't it be nice to have all the answers sometimes?
As a designer maker I find it somewhat frustrating having to search for solutions most of the time. I'm fairly new to Jewellery design, so I have to discover many things on my own as I go along. Things like - what would be the right material to work with, the right coating, how to find the right supplier, where to source materials from etc...
I assume that had I studied it professionally, I'd have more knowledge and resources. I probably would have had friends and colleagues I could consult in as well.
But, I guess this is life isn't it..?
I am sure it happens to everyone, or at least to most creative people out there. Right???
And, don't get me wrong, I chose to discover the world of jewellery even though my background is product design, And I do like a challenge!
So why am I complaining you ask...?
Maybe it's just one of these days when I really would have liked to have more answers.
The way I see it, it's like a roller coaster, when you're down you just want someone to revel all the secrets to you, and when you finally find the right solution on your own - you get this great satisfaction and it's the most amazing feeling.
I hope to have this eureka moment vary soon, knowing I nailed all on my own.
In the meantime I leave you with a photo of the new beads I am making for a new necklace design.
